The Royal Roots Blues Band looks to spread their appreciation of the acoustic blues genre by paying homage to the masters. They take their guidance from longtime blues artist Marty Christian.

Vermilion Express, a bluegrass band led by fiddler Len Springer, features a couple of students who have been with the group for years and are about to graduate. Singer-songwriter Emily Ortego will finish her music business degree with an internship in Nashville. Banjo player Ben Richey will be receiving our first master's degree in trad music performance.
