Chynna Huval is a soul singer of depth and grace who interprets a wide range of songs from the greatest singers of the last seventy years, from Patsy Cline to Amy Winehouse. A Cecelia native and the daughter of Callie Guidry, one third of Sweet Cecilia and the architect of this duo, Chynna's warm, inviting voice and her ability to soar with it place her at the forefront of the astounding generation of young Cajun musicians.
Sam Broussard is a journeyman musician with a dense passport, having lived, played, recorded, and toured across the States and Europe with a wide variety of artists. He's been as far as the Arctic Circle but never saw the Northern Lights, so he returned to his native Lafavette. He's received received three Grammy nominations for his work with Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, and has a fourth for his duo project of new French music with Cajun and Creole folklorist Dr. Barr Ancelet.
