*free show!* University of Louisiana at Lafayette presents a double act of traditional music with two student groups.

Saint Street Songsters is a string band instructed by Chas Justus (The Revelers) and is focusing on performing a mixture of Old-Time, Manouche Jazz, and Appalachian music. This student ensemble comprises of Devin Sonnier (Vocals, Guitar), Alex Benoit (Guitar, Mandolin), Ben Baum (Bass), and Chas Justus (guitar, vocals).

Vermilion Express, a bluegrass group founded in 2014 by Dr. Len Springer and now under the capable direction of multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Richey. Richey played in the band for a few years as a student before graduating from UL Lafayette with a master’s degree in bluegrass banjo performance. Vermilion Express is comprised of Adeline Miller (Mandolin, Vocals), Geovanni Antunez (Guitar, Vocals), Dr. Mark DeWitt (Bass), and Benjamin Richey (Banjo and Vocals)
