First Act: Dustin Gaspard Music prides himself on conviction of live performance, strengthening though cryptic lyricism and an always evolving singer-songwriting style because of dueling solo and backing band projects. His original songs reveal a variety of ranges. From the howling vocal ambiance of solo tunes like "Same C" reminiscent of his simple folk roots, to other jams that liven the listener by holding an upbeat rock and soul vibe, similar to today's Nathaniel Rateliffe and the Nightsweats. Second Act: Aeronautical Pioneer is a Space Folk duo with Jesse Reaux (of The Rayo Brothers) and Kieran McIntosh. Jesse contributes banjo, guitar, and drawling lead vocals while McIntosh creates an atmosphere of electronic pads, aggressive synths, spacey electric guitar, distorted drum loops, and more. The band’s repertoire is inspired by songs and characters with roots ranging from British folk ballads of the 17th and 18th century, to tunes sung in the mountains and fields of the American South in the 1800s, to present day songwriting icons like John Prine and Steve Earle.
