*free outdoor concert* Brown Town is a family band consisting of Jesse and Anglyn Brown, along with their son Beau. Jesse and Anglyn have played with the band Choupique for over 20 years, having recorded three albums and several singles. Beau has played in a multitude of Cajun and Country bands such as Les Bons Sons, La Récolte, Nouveau Cajun Xpress, Choupique and more. All three band members have spent time in French immersion at L'Université Sainte-Anne and can speak French. Jesse and Anglyn have been on tour several times in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada and Beau has played up there for a number of occasions.

Jesse, a Eunice native, learned to play the accordion from his grandfather Eddie Brown and has been playing for almost 30 years. He's also an accordion builder under his brand, Choupique. Anglyn is from the Baton Rouge area and has been playing Cajun music over 20 years. Beau is from Brusly, Louisiana and has been playing fiddle for almost 15 years. The three reside in Brusly, Louisiana near the Mississippi River, although Beau is moving to Lafayette to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the fall.

This family plays a variety of genres of music including Cajun, Country, folk roots, and more. Expect driving accordion, cool twin fiddles, excellent harmonies in French and English and awesome bass runs. Come out to enjoy a good show and enjoy classic Louisiana music!
