Louisiana boasts its share of rare species – some of which are even endangered. One such animal is the Creole accordion player, Joe Hall, leader of the Cane Cutters, who claims to be one of the last left around Louisiana. Although he labels himself a Creole musician, he plays a mixture of all the styles - Cajun, Creole and Zydeco. From the latest release “Melange” Joe Hall & The Cane Cutters were nominated "Best Up-n Coming Zydeco Band”.
